A Shiny Pet is a type of pet in Pet Simulator X added on December 10, 2022. These types of pets are 2.5x stronger than normal and shine in game and in the inventory.
Any pet can be shiny, including Golden, Rainbow, Dark Matter, Hardcore, and Exclusive pets. However, for Exclusive pets, the shiny attribute is cosmetic.
Shiny pets can be obtained by hatching or redeeming them. The chances of obtaining shiny pets can be increased by owning the Shiny Hunter gamepass and activating the Shiny Relic.
Shiny pets can also be created as a result of combining pets into Golden/Rainbow/Dark Matter, but the chances of the pet being shiny depends on how many shiny pets are converted at once. For example, if every pet in a successful conversion is shiny, the result will be a shiny pet. However, if only half of those pets were shiny, there is a 50% chance the result will be shiny.
However, for dark matter pet conversions, as long as at least one rainbow pet is shiny, the result will be a shiny dark matter pet.
Shiny Relic
The Shiny Relic is located in the cave on the left side of the Portals biome in the Fantasy World. It can only be accessed in Hardcore Mode. By sacrificing 250,000,000 
, the chances of obtaining shiny pets can be increased.
Trivia
- Shiny pets can be obtained as a result of fusing if the fusing mastery is leveled up, capping at a 1% chance of receiving a shiny pet.
- In addition to this, before the Doodle World part 2 update, shiny pets obtained by fusing were only as strong as their non-shiny variants.
- When shiny pets were released, some pets that had the shine particles had them replaced. Examples include the Angelus and Huge Sapphire Phoenix.
