About
Pet Simulator X is the third game in the pet simulator series previously Pet Simulator 2 & Pet Simulator, abbreviation PSX. The game is about collecting coins & gems to unlock new powerful pets. The coins can be used to hatch new pets from eggs or purchase new biomes with new eggs and features. New worlds will be discovered as well during the adventure and some areas cointains new features.
Gamepasses
Gamepasses were added back to the series similar to Pet Simulator 1. VIP from Pet Simulator 2 is absent in the game. Gamepasses can be bought from the Exclusive Shop in-game or from the roblox website.

Trivia
- In Pet Simulator 1 and 2, the game was strangely presented by a notice with a timer that didn't reveal anything about the game. The game was then revealed a few days later with a teaser.
- Pet Simulator X has background music from both Pet Simulator 1, and Pet Simulator 2.
- This game has 13 official updates.
- Unlike Pet Simulator 1 and 2 which had Private Servers available for 199 Robux per month, Pet Simulator X's Private Servers cost 400 Robux per month.
- On September 17th, 2021, a countdown for the following update above the fountain was added.
- This is currently Big Games' top performing game produced by them.
- This was the top game on Roblox all morning on 24/10/2021 announced by Preston.
Scandals
There have been some scandals made.
- Trade scamming was a huge problem at the first updates. People with lots of pets couldn't see their pets correctly and what pets have been selected. However this was fixed later.
- Mystery Merchant was added during Hallowvember update and made some people really mad. Mythical and Legendary pets were sold for a really cheap price (1/5 of normal price) and made the game unstable.
- Huge Pegasus was the third huge pet, sold as NFTs. However this is against Roblox TOS since it's in-Roblox founds selling off-site Preston himself have tweeted that he do not think it's against the rules and will continue selling them off-site forward. Roblox will take actions against the creator and the game, what will happen to the game or owner is unknown.
- Bank was added in the 12th update. Not only did it take 3 weeks to create it but it was released with loads of huge duplicating glitches which led to pet values rising to trillions of diamonds.
