The Mailbox is a mechanic in Pet Simulator X added during the 2022 Christmas Event that allows players to send and receive gifts, even if they are not in the same server. It is located in the Shop biome next to the Bank. It is used to send pets and/or 
to other players, as well as send a message to the receiver.
It costs 100,000 to send a gift to another player, and they can only have 100 gifts stored. If a gift is sent to a player who already has 100 gifts unclaimed, an error message will appear. If a gift is ready to claim, the mailbox will open and there will be presents in front of the mailbox, with the amount of presents increasing based on how many gifts there are ready to claim.
When receiving gifts, an option to claim or reject the gift will appear. If the gift is rejected, it is returned to the sender. If the sender rejects it again, the gift is deleted, and any pets/diamonds sent are gone.

Upon clicking on the Gifts button, then clicking on the cog button, a settings menu appears that comes with several configuration options, including the option to instantly reject pets of a certain rarity (except Secret), and options to enable/disable the mailbox, allowing only friends to send pets, allowing only huge pets to be received, and an option that makes every gift require a pet before it is sent.
There is also a clock button that allows the player to view their recent mailbox history, including any gifts they have sent or received, as well as a toggle claim/reject mode that allows the player to claim or reject multiple gifts at once.
Trivia[]
- Upon the first hour of release, pets received through the mailbox had their pet data erased. This meant:
- Any golden, rainbow, or dark matter pets were reset to a normal pet.
- Pet enchants and power were reset, with the exception of Exclusive pets with Companion or Best Friend enchants, which only kept those enchants and changed their second enchant to something random.
- Older Exclusive pets had their power reset to 0, 2, or 3, as well as their enchants erased.
- Another ID of the pet was generated, increasing the exist counter of some older pets.
- Huge pets with a serial had their serial and redeemer removed. If the pet was a Huge Cat, Dog, or Dragon, the Strength V enchant was also replaced with another random enchant.
- The mailbox was disabled several times to fix various bugs.
- During part 1 of the 2022 Christmas Event, deleted gifts were not returned to the sender.
- An additional popup appears if you send a gift with "sign" in the message.
- A minimum of 10,000
can be sent, even if the gift includes a pet. - Giftboxes and Exclusive Eggs can also be sent through the mailbox.
- Due to a bug, the mailbox is occasionally displayed full although there is nothing in it.
