Q&A series - Why were my edits undone or deleted by a mod?
The reason is usually included.
However, this can vary and not every mod proceeds in exactly the same way.
Personally, I don't write anything for the following reasons in particular:
- If the reasons are obvious, e.g. vandalism.
- If I have already had to undo the same changes several times
- If several changes have to be undone
- When I'm on the road and have to do it quickly
- Vandalism
- When images have been added in poor quality
- For non-neutral odds values
- pointless trivia that doesn't really help or causes unnecessary maintenance with every update, e.g. "This is the third strongest legendary pet"
- personal opinions, e.g. "The update was not good" or "The egg is too expensive".
Q&A series - Why am I not allowed to edit certain pages in the wiki?
Most of the pages in the wiki can be edited by all users. There are a few pages that can only be edited by mods. There may be various reasons for this:
- The pages have already been vandalized
- The page has been edited by numerous editors who regularly overwrite the changes made by others.
- The pages contain many links (e.g. the page with the pets or the page with the eggs), so many other pages are dependent on them.
- The pages are complex and editing them requires experience. If you want to make an important change to a protected page, please make a copy of the page in your own sandbox and contact a Content Mod or higher. My message wall can be found here. Admin Pets are pets that can usually only be used by the developers in the game, sometimes they are unique, sometimes there are 10 of them....
They can be in the game for various reasons, sometimes to test new features or visuals.
If a pet cannot be obtained by normal players, then the features cannot be understood. The wiki usually states which egg each pet hatches from and how strong the pet is.
If Admin Pets later become regular pets, the article can be created and it can be mentioned in the trivia section (but as I said: no rumors and assumptions, only facts).
Q&A series - Why is there nothing in the wiki about .... yet? Why are there no pictures yet?
There can be various reasons for this:
- Maybe it's too new and no one has added anything yet. For example, when a new big update comes out, I personally always try to add the eggs first, then the pets. Other editors (hopefully) take care of other things. Due to the size of the updates, these tasks have become so complex that it now takes several days.
- Maybe it's not complex enough to get its own article, please have a look at similar areas. For example, there is a page Gamepasses, but there are no separate pages for the individual Gamepasses.
- Preparing pictures takes time, and the amount is getting bigger and bigger! With Update 5, players can look forward to 60 new pets. But it's not just the 120 pictures (normal+gold) for these pets, there a…

Q&A series - Why are the odds displayed differently in the wiki than in my game?
Basic chances means
- without Gamepass
- without Luck Update
- without active enchants
- without active potions
- without any kind of other Luck Boost
The base chances are permanently the same for everyone. All other values are very complex and listing them all individually would unnecessarily inflate all pages. Furthermore, these values can be changed by BIG Games at any time, which means that if they determine that a new enchant is too strong and it is changed again with the next update, we would have to change all pages. Maintaining the wiki pages is currently quite an effort. It is impossible for us on the wiki team to keep checking all of the methods listed above to constantly update the odds. There are occasional application phases in the wiki. These are also published in the wiki. When selecting applicants, one of the criteria is how you contribute to the wiki. Some mods (including myself) had thousands of edits before being promoted to content mod.
However, you can edit most of the wiki pages without additional rights. There are a few pages that are protected, e.g. those that have often been vandalized. This also includes pages with complex table structures, where one forgotten character can break the whole page.
As a mod you have a few additional rights and obligations in the wiki, but no advantages in the game.
