Auras were a main feature of the RNG Event in Pet Simulator 99. This feature was exclusive to the RNG World and didn't work in any other world. Auras were purely cosmetic and had no impact on gameplay.
Each pet hatched from the RNG Egg during the RNG Event had a corresponding Aura. Auras were displayed above the player's head and correspond to the pet they have equipped. Each aura featured two lines of text above the player's head: the first line displayed the chance of obtaining that specific pet variant (e.g., "1 in 100"), while the second line showed the "element" or Aura type.
The most common auras only displayed these two lines of text. However, rarer auras included additional particle effects, and the rarest auras go even further, adding more particles and altering the player's animations.

- While in-game Auras do not visually differentiate between pet variants, internally they are named after the specific variants. For example, the "Earth" Aura is referred to as "Earth," "Shiny Earth," "Golden Earth," etc., depending on the variant of the pet equipped.
